Answer a few questions about your organisation and get a valid schema.org JSON-LD entity map to paste into your website, with checks for the mistakes that most often break structured data and short install notes for common platforms.
Private by design
Everything on this page runs in your browser using fixed rules. There is no server involved, no AI model, and nothing you type is sent anywhere or saved. Your answers are held in memory only and disappear when you refresh or close the page, so copy or download your result before you leave.
The site's ordinary page analytics follow your cookie settings and only record which step of the tool was reached, never what you typed.

Question
What structured data can and cannot do
Structured data is a labelled description of your organisation that search engines can read directly instead of inferring it from page text. It helps them understand which entity a page is about, and it can make a page eligible for some rich results.
It does not guarantee rich results, higher rankings or mentions in AI answers. Search engines choose what to show, and there is no demonstrated evidence that AI assistants read JSON-LD specifically. Use it because accurate, consistent entity data is good housekeeping, and check the output against what your visitors can actually see on the page.
The tool keeps to conservative, widely supported schema.org properties and leaves out anything it is not sure about, so the result is a solid starting point rather than a complete or final description of your business.
Frequently asked questions
What is JSON-LD?
JSON-LD is a way of writing structured data as a block of JSON inside a script tag on a web page. It uses the shared schema.org vocabulary to say things like "this is an organisation, here is its name, address and website, and here is who founded it". It is invisible to visitors and is read by machines such as search engine crawlers.
Where do I put the generated markup?
Paste the whole script tag into the HTML of the page it describes, normally in the head. Most website platforms have a custom code or header injection setting for this. A downloaded .json file does nothing on its own: the markup only counts when its contents sit inline in the page.
Does valid schema markup guarantee rich results?
No. Valid markup can make a page eligible for some rich results, but search engines decide whether to show them, and many valid pages show nothing extra. Google stopped showing FAQ rich results in Search from 7 May 2026, so FAQPage markup should not be expected to produce a visible result in Google.
Do AI assistants read schema markup?
There is no demonstrated evidence that large language models or AI assistants ingest JSON-LD specifically. Search engines use structured data to understand the entities on a page, and that is the benefit to plan around. This tool does not claim to change what any AI assistant says about you.
How do I check that my markup is valid?
The tool flags missing required fields, badly formed URLs, phone numbers and dates, duplicate IDs and references that point nowhere. After installing the markup on your site, test the live page with Google's Rich Results Test and the Schema Markup Validator at validator.schema.org.
Is the Schema Markup Generator free, and is my data safe?
It is free, with no signup and no email address required. Everything runs in your browser using fixed rules. Nothing you type is sent to a server or stored, and your answers disappear when you close or refresh the page.
